Inspired by Local history
Our journey began with Knot Garden Gin, a spirit inspired by the Cambridgeshire village we have called home since our earliest days together. At its heart stands the remarkable 15th-century Buckden Towers, which once housed Queen Katherine of Aragon after her marriage to Henry VIII was annulled. Within its grounds is a beautiful walled Knot Garden created in her honour. This garden became the muse for our carefully chosen botanicals: sweet briar rose, pomegranate, and almond.
The Saragusta Range
From this first creation grew the Saragusta Range, a collection shaped by the same devotion to heritage, artistry, and flavour. Each spirit reflects what matters most to us: places that hold meaning, stories that have shaped us, and flavours that evoke a sense of time and place. The range takes its name from Cambridge City, somewhere we've run through cobbled streets as kids, danced through nights out as twenty somethings, and now share the magic with our own children.
